Recycle Your old papers this weekend for FREE

If you’ve been going through your papers and purging old documents, tax returns and whatever else you happen upon, be sure that you don’t just throw them in your trash can.  Identity theft is on the rise and you should take steps to protect yourself.  If you have a shredder — good for you!  Shred these documents.
If you don’t have one, you can actually take part in free shredding events around Kansas City this weekend.    They are being sponsored by Community America and can be found at the following locations:
* 5400 NE Antioch Rd, Kansas City, MO
* 11510 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO
* 5601 W. 95th Street, Overland Park, KS
* 3100 S. Mo Rte 291, Independence, MO
* 13590 S. Blackbob Rd, Olathe, KS
The event runs from 8:00 a.m. -  12:00 p.m. on Saturday April 3rd.  Shredding is completely free – up to 3 boxes of documents.  They will be accepting donations for Junior Achievement of Middle America at all locations, if you choose to donate.

Thanks Tracie!
