Looking for something fun to do with the kids on this winter day? Head out to the Johnson County Museum to check out KidScape - the museum's newest hands-on exhibit for kids ages 3-9. Designed to look like a suburban streetscape, KidScape immerses children into a colorful, exciting environment where they can learn about community through role-playing and meet some of Johnson County's most talented citizens - past and present! Enter into six enticing environments: bookstore, park, City Hall, hospital, fashion boutique, and theater.
Admission to KidScape is free! Johnson County Museum is located at 6305 Lackman Road, Shawnee, KS.
The museum is open:
Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00-4:30 p.m
