Returning for its ninth year, Celebration at the Station is a wonderful free family-friendly event hosted at the historic Union Station. On Sunday, May 29th, the grounds open at 3:00 PM, and at 4:30 PM the pre-show festivities begin. The Kansas City Symphony begins its performance at 7:30 PM, entertaining the crowds with music of America (including the 1812 Overture and live canons!). After the Symphony finishes at 9:15 PM, the skies will light up with a beautiful fireworks display over the WWI Liberty Memorial. Don't forget to bring your blankets and picnic baskets!
