FREE Exhibit - Roots of a Nation

Mid-Continent Public Library and The Missouri Society Sons of the Revolution are very proud to bring this unique exhibit to the Midwest for the first time. The Roots of a Nation exhibit provides an up-close look at the beginning of our great nation. All of the artifacts are from the Claude and Inez harkins Freedom Collection, including a shoe buckle that President George Washington received at his first inauguration in 1789! This FREE exhibit will be open to the public from July 9 to August 21, 2011. The exhibit will be housed at the Midwest Genealogy Center in Independence, MO. Find the hours and location. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
