Freaky Pets is an online community for kids. The title "Freaky Pets" refers to how each creature has a "cute" version and a "cranky" one. When you sign up with an account on FreakyPets.com, you are assigned an avatar and then you can wander the community and play games to "earn" coins. At Hallmark stores, you can purchase plush versions of the Freaky Pets. We received a plush Walloc (which we think is a walrus!). There is a velcro strip on the back of each plush which you open - then flip them inside-out and the other version is revealed. What a fun concept!
Also, Freaky Pets recently released their first single called ‘I Feel Good’ featuring the Black Eyed Puffs, from the album ‘New Pets on The Block’ which is filled with 5 kid friendly tunes! The song is available as a free download to the first 5,000 people who visit Freaky Pets Online!
We think the Freaky Pet plush is very cute and humorous. My hubby is always switching Walloc back and forth from cute to cranky - but our particular plush seems to spend the most time as "cranky!" I was also curious about the online world of Freaky Pets. I created a user account (the site is geared for kids but it let me create an account too). I wandered around the world and played some games - one particularly fun one seemed to be a type of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). The site features parental controls so that you can keep track of your kids while they are online. The plush toys are fun and I thought the online world seemed safe for kids to explore. Check out Freaky Pets online - or visit your local Hallmark store to purchase a plush of your own.
Make sure you "like" Freaky Pets on Facebook for all the latest updates! You can also find Freaky Pet Walloc (and others) on Amazon
Thanks to Freaky Pets for providing my review sample! I received no compensation and all views expressed are my own.
