My Kansas City Mommy: Name Your Tune Personalized Children's CDs Review + Giveaway

When I was a kid, I loved things that were personalized. If it had my name on it, it was like 300 times more awesome.

These days, I'm not sure if kids always have the same opportunity to have fun personalized things. There's such a wide variety of names out there that companies can't keep up! I even wonder about my own son - L has a name that is becoming more popular, but I hadn't heard it much at all until we chose it for him.

So I'm super excited to share with you about my latest kid's music find: Name Your Tune! Name Your Tune is a personalized CD featuring 14 different songs. Name Your Tune is a customized CD - when you place your order, you give your child's name and you will receive a made-to-order CD featuring your child's name in all the songs!

Now, I'm not talking about a random "mention" in the song - you know, where the music isn't even playing and someone randomly inserts "Hi L!" before the song starts. The name is actually part of each song. It is amazing!

I have to admit I was skeptical when told that the CD seamlessly weaves in the custom name - but it does. On the first CD, you are able to hear your child's name over 80 times.

The best thing is that Name Your Tune has a database of over 4800 names available to customize your CD. They even offer multiple pronunciations - when you place your order, there is a field to fill in how your child's name is pronounced. I easily found L's name in the list, and the finalized CDs sound awesome. L is six months old and just starting to realize what his name sounds like, so I'm excited for him to have this CD collection - I know we are going to be listening to it a lot!

All of the songs are fun and catchy, and your child is sure to be impressed that the CD knows who they are. The Name Your Tune collection would make a great gift if you're searching for something unique for the upcoming holidays! Nieces, nephews, grandkids, classmates...everyone has a different name, so it's a different gift for each person on your list! You can even have more than one name added to a CD - great if you're looking to please multiple kids. :)
