Red Baron Pan Pizza Review + Giveaway



Red Baron pizzas have always been a staple of the frozen food aisle, but how do they compare with delivery pizzas? That is the question that Howie Mandel is out to answer in a new set of online videos where he delivers Red Baron pan pizzas to real families. So, which pizza is the "Real Deal?" Red Baron - of course!





Hubby and I were given the chance to sample one of Red Baron's new pan pizzas along with a set of nifty Red Baron accessories (two oven mitts, pizza cutter, pizza server, Red Baron plates and napkins) - we thought this was a spectacular way to have an at-home date night!


We followed the instructions on the box to bake our pepperoni pizza (though we actually removed half of the pepperonis because I prefer cheese). The baking time is 25-28 minutes - which is faster than calling for delivery and waiting for your order to show up.  Plus when cooking at home, you know your food will be hot when it's dinnertime - why risk getting a cold pizza from delivery?  The Red Baron Pan Pizza comes in its own pizza pan and you just throw them both in the oven.  Super simple, just how I like it!


I have loved Red Baron for years, but this was the first chance I've had to sample the Pan Pizza style.  I loved it!  The crust is perfectly crunchy, in contrast with the cheesy, soft goodness of the center.  The baking tray seemed shallow to me, so I was surprised at how thick it turned out! 


Overall, we think it is a winner.  Delicious, easy to prepare - Red Baron Pan Pizza is a quick, easy and low-cost alternative to delivery pizza - best of all, you can cook it right at home, with no delivery charge!
