Book Review + Giveaway: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart (3 Winners)

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart: 101 Stories of Inspiration, Humor, and Wisdom about Life at a Certain AgeWhen you are fifteen, it seems like life will be over by thirty. Once you've hit thirty, you look forward to the downward slope at fifty. But once you have reached fifty or sixty, you realize that you are still here and there is much more that you can do and accomplish. This new collection of stories Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart was put together just for the over-fifty crowd. Some of the categories of stories are Turning Back the Clock, Never Too Late for Romance, Privileges of Age and Who're You Calling Old?

I found one particular story "The Anniversary Waltz" to be very touching. It is written by a woman, who as a newlywed, attended a grand gala fiftieth anniversary party for some acquaintances. As a young woman, she recognized how sweet it was when the couple danced to the traditional anniversary waltz, but she couldn't fully understand how it felt to have been married for fifty years. Then, fast forward fifty years, and now that same young lady has reached her own fiftieth anniversary. She realizes how fast the time flies and how much she and her husband have lived together through life and children. They opted for a much quieter party, but she still wanted to have a dance to the anniversary waltz.
