Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur Big City DVD Review + Giveaway

The PBS series Dinosaur Train began its second season this past August and in celebration, they released a new movie on DVD Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur Big City! Buddy, along with his Pteranodon family, head off on the Dinosaur Train (yes, there is an actual train in Dinosaur Train) Laramidia, aka "Dinosaur Big City," to go to the Theropod Convention. Buddy and family meet up with some old friends at the convention, including Annie Tyrannosaurus and her parents - Delores and Boris. The get the chance to meet some new friends like Mayor Kosmoceratops and King Cryolophosaurus.  Dinosaur Train: Dinosaur Big City is an exciting adventure the whole family is sure to enjoy!

Dinosaur Train is a bright, fun show - and this movie is no exception. They sort of remind me of a modern update of The Land Before Times series. The characters are all brightly colored. This show does a good job of introducing kids to all sorts of dinosaurs though the main character, Buddy, is a T-Rex. The DVD includes extras such as coloring pages, an interactivegame, dinosaur reference guide and Dr. Scott's Segments. Pick up this new fun adventure!
