my ubby - Build a Blanket, Create a Smile - Custom Blanket Review (Part 2) + Giveaway

Did you catch my post yesterday - part one of my review of my ubby, a fun custom blanket boutique here in Kansas City?  If so, make sure you check it out for a review of the customization process and a sneak peek at the ubby workshop!

Today, I am excited to show you my finished blanket - and tell you about the giveaway my ubby is holding just for My Kansas City Mommy readers!  Keep reading for details!

I picked up my blanket about a week after I visited the store and made my selection.  The process was super easy - I received a phone call as soon as it was ready and just headed right over to pick it up!

The presentation is simple but beautiful!  Rolled up and tied in "my ubby" ribbon - with L's name visible - the finished blanket is a striking product that is sure to impress!

We unrolled L's ubby blanket and let him check it out right away.  I just love the personalization!  At 35"x45", it is a great size for cuddling and snuggling - just what we love around here.

L loves to crawl around on this blanket!  It is super soft and silky - and he is not yet the greatest at crawling so sometimes he slides around a little.  Very cute.

The quality of my ubby is excellent and I love knowing that it was made locally.  I love to support local businesses and you can bet this is one I will return to!  Overall my entire experience with my ubby has been extremely positive.  I loved having the chance to build my own custom design and then not have to actually do the work to make it come to life!

The wonderful thing about my ubby is that you can build a custom blanket for any occasion.  Think about selecting a custom blanket for a baby shower, Christmas gift, nursery decoration, graduation or going-away-to-college gift - the possibilities are endless!  Use your imagination and check out the beautiful selection of fabrics and accents available and make your own ubby today!

We're big fans of my ubby here at My Kansas City Mommy's house - and I think once you check it out, you will be too!

If you're a local reader, you can visit the ubby workshop in person at:
4567 Indian Creek Parkway
Overland Park, KS 66207

If you're not able to stop by the store, make sure you check out their website and "like" them on Facebook

  5. I wish there were a store like this near me! I could seriously spend a day there personalizing everything for our little girl's nursery. I love that they have girly options besides pink. I've been getting everything in lilac and it's not always easy to find. :)
