Coca-Cola Family Fun Night Review + Giveaway ($100 ARV)!

Now that summer is over - Coca-Cola wants to help families get "back to the basics" with a Coke Family Night with their My Coke Rewards program. On the My Coke Rewards/Family site, you can find tons of great tips on how to make your family night a blast! Their tips are divided into three sections: Game Together, Play Together and Snack Together.

Game Together: Video games are a kid-only activity in most households today, but they don't have to be. You can find out more about getting the whole family in on the fun with the Playstation Move.

Play Together: Most families only know how too play separately, but My Coke Rewards has some great tips on making family night fun! My favorite idea from their selection is "Choosing a Game Night Theme." They suggest creating a theme around a specific game such as playing Capture the Flag while dressing up as different countries (get it? because countries have flags).

Snack Together: Get some great recipes from G. Garvin (Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin). Personally, I can't wait to try his recipe for Grilled Chicken and Cheese Nachos. Also there are some fun tips for snack time such as how to make your own soda fountain - how fun would that be?

Around here, game playing is tough to do until after the baby has gone to sleep, since his idea of fun is chewing on literally everything in sight!  We got out our Yahtzee game last week for some late-night family fun! 

We love board games in our house (I think we put about 15 games on our wedding registry list), so this Coca-Cola collection was a wonderful addition. My hubby especially loves Monopoly (I think he has six - now seven - kinds of Monopoly!).

And L?  Like I said - so far, he just likes to chew on the checkers pieces.  But I'm sure he will learn to love family game night!  :)
