Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics CD {Review}

Beethoven is arguably one of the greatest composers who has ever lived. But many kids today have absolutely no interest in classical music and many parents don't know how to get their kids interested. Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics CD might just be the answer. This music collection adds humorous and witty lyrics to some of the greatest works of classical music by Beethoven (of course), Mozart, Brahms, Chopin, Stravinsky and more! Some of the tune's kids will very likely recognize - "The Entertainer," "Brahms Lullaby" and "Chopsticks." Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics is the fifth Beethoven's Wig CD. In my opinion, the best feature on this CD is that there are two sets of tracks, one with lyrics and one without (just straight classical piano).  Once kids are hooked on the "funny" version, they might enjoy the classical as well!

I really enjoyed listening to Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics. My personal favorites were Mozart's "Alla Turca" (which I played fiercely as a 14-year-old!) - on this CD, is entitled "Mozart Makes Kids Smart" and Debussy's "Clair de Lune" which has been transformed into "Voyage to the Moon." These songs are smart and funny. But most importantly, they introduce kids to classical music like they've never heard before. You can visit Beethoven's Wig's website to learn about Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics and the other four CD's in the collection.

Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics is currently available on Amazon for $10.84.
