{Children's Book Review} The Berenstain Bears Get Ready for Christmas
The Berenstain Bears are in the holiday spirit in their latest book The Berenstain Bears Get Ready for Christmas. But when Brother Bear and Sister Bear open the box that is supposed to hold the Nativity scene, they just find baby Jesus and nothing else. Brother, Sister and Honey Bear have to search the Bear family tree up and down to find all of the missing pieces to the Nativity - a family "bearloom." Along the way, they tell the story of the Nativity. This new book is a lot of fun as it is a lift-the-flap book. Will they find all of the missing pieces and get the Nativity together? They'll have to search high and low in cabinets, behind pictures and under teddy bears.
I have always loved The Berenstain Bears and I am really glad that they are still thriving so that my son can grow up reading the stories. Get Ready for Christmas is also the first one that I have seen as a lift-the-flap book. I know that I used to love interactive books. This little story will make a great addition to your children's Christmas collection.
The Berenstain Bears Get Ready for Christmas is currently priced at $6.99 on Amazon.
