In the Nick of Time 'Making Silly Faces' CD Review + Giveaway

Nick Deysher and In the Nick of Time have released a new album this year: Making Silly Faces. This is a follow-up to People Places and Things (2009) and Coconut Groove (2007). With a mixture of a wide variety of musical styles (from rock and pop to funk, jazz and reggae), Silly Faces is a fun-filled family-friendly album that kids and adults will absolutely love! Nick's latest album won both first place and editor's choice in the 2011 She Knows Parenting Awards! Making Silly Faces is a great abulm that your kids will adore.

I really enjoyed listening to Making Silly Faces. The variety of music surprised me. At first I wondered if the cd was made up of parodies when I saw the song title "Let's Hear It for the Band," but all of the songs are originals by Nick Deysher. My personal favorites on this cd were "In the Nick of Time" because it had a very lyrical melody (melodic music is very important to me) and also "I Tried It...I Liked It!" because it was just so much fun! The latter song is about trying new foods because, you never know, you might like them! Making Silly Faces has many other great tunes like the bilingual "Abajo Arriba" and the very pop-rock-y "Slumber Party." Overall, I think Making Silly Faces is a fun cd that will become a very well-played cd in your collection.
