Only $100! 2 Round-Trip Airfare + Tickets to Disneyland or Disney World ($1,000 Value)

If your heading to Disney here's a offer you may want to check out, plus enter code Disney39 - to drop this deal to only $100...

-For just $100, get 2 round-trip plane tickets plus 2 one-day passes to your choice of Disneyland (Anaheim, CA) or Disney World (Orlando, FL) after you book your hotel accommodations through the One Stop Travel Agency - a fully-accredited ARC travel agency (A+ rating with BBB) that has provided exceptionally-valued vacations to millions of customers *use code Disney39

-Each voucher covers round-trip airfare for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child after booking accommodations at one of the participating hotels/resorts for the minimum nights required (minimum varies per hotel/resort; calculate minimum nights here prior to purchasing); review all terms and conditions here

-Major airline carriers include American, Delta, and JetBlue

-Trusted hotels include 3-, 4-, and 5-star options like award-winning Crowne Plaza Universal, Sheraton, Hilton, or Marriott

-At Disney World, enjoy theme parks like Magic Kingdom®, Epcot®, and Disney's Animal Kingdom®

-Near Disney World is LEGOLAND, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, golf courses, and beaches

-At Disneyland, visit Disneyland Park and the popular Disneyland California Adventure Park

-Near Disneyland is Knott's Berry Farm amusement park, Angels Baseball games, Anaheim Ducks Hockey games, and famous Los Angeles beaches

-Satisfaction guaranteed

*I did a little research on this deal, because we are going to Disney in March, but we are driving and I've already booked a hotel off site.  Depending on what you prefer to do...this can be a pretty good deal.  Most the resorts will have shuttle transportation to Disney, so you won't need to rent a car.  Hotel stay averaged from around $140 per night from what I saw (which I'm spending over $250 per night on our room), not to mention the cost of Disney tickets.

Flippin' Awesome Vacation Giveaway: Enter to Win Trip for 10 to Bali, Costa Rica, or Tuscany

With the holidays in full swing, it's no surprise that I am dreaming of vacations.  How nice would it be to pack up and leave the cold behind for a sunny destination with a beach?  Ahh, lovely.  If your budget is anything like mine, making a snap decision on a vacation is less than likely.  But we can always try to win a trip, right?

Have you heard about the Flippin’ Awesome Vacation Giveaway? The Grand Prize is a 7-night vacation in a luxury vacation rental in Bali, Costa Rica, or Tuscany. The vacation includes lodging and $3,000 for expenses. The winner can invite up to 10 friends to join them (good luck choosing who to bring along!).

Regardless which location you select as your choice if you win, you will be vacationing in style!  These rental homes look gorgeous and each features amazing amenities such as a tropical walking garden, tennis court and indoor outdoor pools (Bali), golden-sand beach near the rainforest (Costa Rica), or a restaurant-grade kitchen (Tuscany).  I'm torn, but I think Bali is the location I would most like to visit!

You can enter now through January 10, 2012.  Entry is limited to once per person - so you don't have to remember to come back daily for a new entry!  Love that!  You can earn bonus entries each time a friend enters the contest.  You should probably warn friends that if they enter because you tell them about the contest, you will expect to be invited on their trip if they win!

You can enter on FlipKey's Facebook page or on the Sweepstakes page here.

Aurora World "Are We There Yet" Travel Collection Review + Giveaway

Traveling with little passengers can be challenging - at least, so I've heard.  We haven't actually attempted a big travel adventure with L yet.  When we do decide we're brave enough to hit the road (or the sky or the open sea), I know for sure what we will be taking along with us...  Aurora World's Are We There Yet travel collection!

This fun product line includes plush accessories including backpacks, toys, neck rests and “My Name Is” ID tags (great for luggage - your kiddo's travel bag will be easily identified at baggage claim).

Items in the Are We There Yet collection include:

-Cheeky Charlie and Gerome the Giraffe bean-filled plush (11.5”, MSRP: $11)

-Cheeky and Gerome “Keep Me Comfy” Neck Rests (10”, MSRP: $13)

-“By My Side” Backpacks (Cheeky, Gerome, Lion and Panda; 12”, MSRP: $17)
-‘My Name Is’ ID Tags (MSRP: $6), (available in six styles including monkey, giraffe, lion, shark, panda and gator).

I was sent a Gerome Giraffe neck rest and a Panda "My Name Is" ID tag.  I can't believe how cute these are!  The neck rest is perfectly sized for kids and is super soft - it's basically a comfy, adorable pillow to bring along on your travels!  I have no doubt that it will make long trips a lot more "bear"able (heh) for L.

But right now, he's pretty content to just chew on his travel companions. :)

Energizer Advanced & Ultimate Lithium Batteries (w/ bonus $10 Gash Card) Review + Giveaway

For a lot of families, summer means vacationing - and vacationing means money spent on things like meals on the road, batteries in the camera - and the ever-rising cost of gas.  It's hard to be frugal sometimes when you're traveling - your schedule may be limited and there aren't a lot of coupons out there for gasoline.  But I have some good news for you!

Energizer® is rewarding customers who purchase their Lithium batteries - by making their dollar stretch further. And it's really easy.  Just purchase two packs of specially-marked Energizer® Ultimate Lithium or Energizer® Advanced Lithium batteries and you can receive a $10 Prepaid Discover® Gas Rewards in the mail!

Energizer® sent me a package of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium batteries and a package of Energizer® Advanced Lithium batteries.  These batteries are great and I am excited that I won't have to change out batteries as often.  Energizer® Ultimate Lithium batteries last up to 8x longer in digital cameras, and Energizer® Advanced Lithium batteries last up to 4x longer in digital cameras, 20 hours longer in wireless gaming accessories and up to 30% longer in personal audio devices. (stats compared with Energizer® MAX®).  I'm using mine in baby toys...I'm guessing they will last until I am long past tired of hearing their "fun" little tunes.  :)

In addition to the long-lasting benefit of these batteries, there's an added bonus (and it's so easy!).  Purchase two specially marked packages of Energizer® Lithium batteries, then visit the Energizer Facebook page.  Click the Lithium Gas Reward tab and follow the instructions to input your battery pack codes.  Once you have added your 2 codes, a $10 Prepaid Discover® Gas Rewards card will be mailed to you!  This fantastic promotion is valid until 1/31/12 at 11:59 p.m. ET - all codes must be redeemed by that date.

I just put in my two codes and requested my $10 Reward card - it was simple and easy - took about two minutes.  Make sure you snag these specially marked Energizer® Lithium batteries while they last!

Giveaway

One My Kansas City Mommy reader will win 1 package of Energizer® Advanced Lithium Batteries and 1 package of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium Batteries of their choice (choose between AA and AAA) - plus the batteries will include codes you can redeem for a $10 Gas Reward Card!  This giveaway will end on July 19  at 11:59 PM Central time.
