Lees Summit's annual Downtown Days...Streets Alive! festival will be held this upcoming Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 3-5, 2011, in downtown Lees Summit. The festival, annually held the first weekend in June, spans all of the downtown area with a variety of vendors and events. There will be live musical entertainment at the Depot Stage Tent, a BBQ contest, carnival, basketball tournament and much more! A special street is even designated as Kids' Street, just for the young folks. The festival hours are Friday, June 3 from 12 pm – 10 pm, Saturday, June 4 from 10 am – 10pm, and Sunday, June 5 from 12 pm – 5 pm.
