Summer is upon us, and what is more fun during the summer than a free concert? This Friday, June 3rd, Mingo Fishtrap will be playing at Frontier Park in Olathe (15501 Indian Creek Parkway; Olathe, KS 66062) as part of Olathe's 2011 Summer Concert Series. Mingo Fishtrap is described as "an anomoly in the contemporary music scene." Their unique sound is an amalgam of soul, funk and Motown pop. They'll be playing with special guest Funk Syndicate who plays everything from funk to R&B to jazz to rock. The concert starts at 7:00 PM.
