Review: 101 Offline Activities You Can Do With Your Child

It's summertime and many moms and dads have their kids at home with them... every day... all day. Your kids will fight over what to watch on TV, whose turn it is to play the Wii or who has gotten more computer time. If your kids are constantly in electronic mode, you might want to pick up a copy of 101 Offline Activities You Can Do With Your Child. This nifty little tome, written by Steve and Ruth Bennett (authors of the classic 365 TV-Free Activities You Can Do With Your Child), lists so many fun (and mostly free) activities that will you and your family will enjoy - and unlike the computer, TV or video game system, these family-friendly games will allow you some probably much-needed time to bond as a family. Some of them are games - #5 Audrey's Tic-Tac-Tongs, some are crafts - #98 Witches Brew, and some are just plain fun - #17 Creature Dinner Party. And all of the 101 activities are "fun, easy, and environmentally-friendly."

You can find this great book on Amazon:
