Johnson County's only outdoor ice rink, The Ice, is having a grand opening celebration from noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011. This event kicks off the 4th Season of the ice rink at Park Place.
The Ice is located at 117th and Nall in Leawood. Admission to the grand opening is $6 for children ten and under and $7 for those older than ten. This event is a great way to pay it forward, as a portion of collected admissions during the grand opening will be donated to The Children’s Place of Kansas City.
Skate rental is available for $3. Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates. Radio Disney's Rockin' Road Crew will be on site with games, activities, and freebies! Sounds like a fun event for sure.
