I am a little bit biased as my family is involved in this production, but it is really a lot of fun and has had great comments from audiences so far!  If you're looking for great family entertainment this weekend, give Scrooge a chance!

In 1986, Blue Springs City Theatre presented its very first production: Scrooge.

Now in its 25th Anniversary Season, BSCT is bringing Scrooge back to the stage with an all-new cast and creative team.  The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at this theatre.  If you are looking for a family-friendly holiday event, this is it!  Children, grown-ups and those who are young at heart will smile, laugh, and cry as the familiar story of A Christmas Carol comes to life before their eyes.  Opening Night is two weeks away, and the cast is working very hard during rehearsals.

Here's a short synopsis of this classic tale:

Charles Dickens first published his classic Christmas ghost story in 1843. In 1970, renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted it into the hit screen musical Scrooge! The music is charming, haunting, and festive as Scrooge is confronted by his old partner, Marley, and the three Ghosts of Christmas. You won't want to miss this heart-warming holiday story.
