I talk about consignment sales all the time, but another season is here - Garage Sale Season! I have been a faithful garage- and yard-sale shopper for most of my life - I can remember going with my mom when I was really little. You never know what amazing things you can find, at super low prices! Here's my example, from yesterday's shopping trip.
Items purchased -
-Set of 6 Gerber Bowls/Lids (missing one lid), retail $8 - $.50
-Eric Carle Animal Flashcards, retail $15 - $1
-The Lion King DVD (like new), retail $33 - $1
My total cost was $2.50!
That's a retail savings of $53.50 or 96%!
