Found this one on Pinterest and decided to give it a try today. It wasn't too difficult once I figured out all the little things they don't tell you.

I found a few things that aren't detailed on Pinterest so here's the real deal. I found an old book page from an Encyclopedia and used a utility knife to cut the page out. I then found a picture I wanted to use. I used Microsoft Word and imported my picture and then used the effects in the picture menu (hint - to get to the picture menu right click on the picture and click format picture). I then clicked on Glow & Soft Edges and added a soft effect to the edges of the photo. I added a phrase I found online at the top about Grandparents. Outside of that I didn't change anything on the photo at all. I was then ready to print - I tested the printout a couple of times on regular paper to make sure I had it all arranged like I wanted. When I thought it was ready I put the Book Page into the printer (mine was 8x10 so I didn't have to tape it down to a regular sized piece of paper - but if yours isn't make sure to tape it down to a regular piece of paper). HINT - you must use a laser printer and they don't tell you that on Pinterest - or at least the 2 other printers in my house didn't work well for me as they printed way to light. Insert the picture into a frame. And you now have a great gift.
