Love Never Dies: In Movie Theaters 2/28 & 3/7 + Ticket Giveaway

I'm not going to lie.  I have had a crazy obsession with The Phantom of the Opera for over a decade.  I have the entire soundtrack memorized.  I own about six Phantom-themed t-shirts.  I have mugs, pens, pins, souvenir playbills, water globes.  I've seen the show on Broadway and all over the US.  My piano score is literally falling apart.

Oh, and then there was that time I dressed in costume to attend a performance and the stage manager gave me a backstage tour.  Yup. I'm for real.

So, imagine my excitement when I learned that Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies - the sequel to the beloved stage version of Phantom of the Opera - is coming to movie theaters across the US.  And it is going to be playing right here in Kansas City.  As I have been unable to visit London to see the show live, this is super exciting!  The first showing is on February 28 and will be the US premiere of Love Never Dies.  An encore performance will follow on March 7. 

This event will feature the fully staged pre-recorded performance of Love Never Dies (captured from The
Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia). The show features a 21-piece orchestra and a cast of 36 including actors Ben Lewis as Phantom and Anna O’Byrne as Christine Daaé. The story is based on a book by Ben Elton and features the captivating love story of the Phantom and Christine Daaé, which continues in New York’s playground, Coney Island.  The event will also include an introduction from Andrew Lloyd Webber.

It may not be super cold outside, but we are still in the thick of winter - and around our house, that means a lot of nights spent at home.  And since our only little one is just a baby, we've had to be creative in our endeavor to create fun family nights around here!

Some might call me a photo enthusiast.  Some might say I have an addiction.  I'm a little afraid to see how many photos I have taken this year (something that I check while I analyze my photo organizing system at the end of each year...no, I'm not crazy)!
