The Kansas City Public Library offers a wide variety of happenings in addition the their wide variety of books. This summer, the Central branch has hosted a FREE exhibit entitled Reckless Beauty & Mounting Laughter: A Day in the Life of the American Circus, 1900-1956. This exhibit is FREE to the public and celebrates the traveling circus. Be reminded of bygone days with vintage posters and costumes and a 1/3 scale replica of a genuine calliope wagon. The Central branch of KCPL is located at 14 W. 10th St, KCMO 64105. This exhibit closes August 28th, so go see it before it closes!
