It is no mystery that kids love VeggieTales. And now these delightful vegetables have released a new DVD and CD just in time for Christmas! The DVD - The Little Drummer Boy
- follows the classic holiday tale except in this version, the titular drummer is Junior Asparagus who happens upon the birth of Jesus. This timeless parable with a twist is a fun and heartwarming journey of hope, love and forgiveness. This DVD comes with many great bonus features - including learning how to make your own drum as a family!, they have also released a new CD that goes along with the DVD entitled O Holy Night
. The CD includes many wonderful timeless Christmas carols sung by your favorite vegetables, but it also has a number of new songs sung by the likes of Wynona Judd, Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant and Matthew West. A special version of "The Little Drummer Boy" by Bebe and CeCe Winans is included on both the CD and the DVD! I can't pick just one favorite song on this album - my favorite classic carol is "Silent Night" and my favorite new song from the album is "Give This Christmas Away" by Matthew West and Amy Grant.VeggieTales has joined with World Vision to provide an opportunity for families to give back to those in need.
