TerraCycle Bag Giveaway!

The Capri Sun beverage brand was one of the earliest supporters of TerraCycle, a company that collects would-be trash and turns it into useful items. The collection program, called the Drink Pouch Brigade, allows children to choose to deposit used pouches in special receptacles at their school rather than throw them away. In participating schools, each used drink pouch collected and sent to TerraCycle earns two cents, with the funds going toward needed educational programs and resources.

The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigrade Progam functions in 30,000 schools nation wide where they have collected 50 million drink pouches in two years resulting in the 1 million dollars milestone donation!  This saves all of those pouches from ending up in landfills!  AMAZING!!!

In celebration of this milestone TerraCycle is giving away* one of the bags pictured above through MyKansasCityMommy! How would you like to be that winner?

For this giveaway we would love to hear your recycling, reusing tips and ideas in how you involve your family.

  1. I am an avid recycler...I use gallon milk jugs to make sandwich containers for lunchboxes...no more squished sandwiches! Also use old jeans to make bags and blanket, shirts to make rugs and bowls, dryer lint to make paper...lil' bit o' this, lil' bit o' that!!
