Wendy's Berry Almond Chicken Salad Review + $25 Gift Card Giveaway

Wife...mommy...blogger...librarian...drama teacher...these are all the names I go by these days.  And between all the names, I am one busy lady!  It is really easy for me to get caught up in the day and forget to eat.  What usually happens is that I just grab something super fast and easy - which usually equals not-so-healthy.  In the back of my mind somewhere is another plan: setting a good example by eating healthy foods!  I am working toward that goal....I hope.

So when I was asked by Wendy's to try out the new Berry Almond Chicken Salad, I jumped at the chance!  I love eating salad because in my mind it's one of the healthiest meals out there.  Take a look at this deliciousness:

While I do enjoy eating salad, let it be known that I am a very picky eater.  There are very few salads that I've found I can order without adding some sort of special instructions.  But this one?  Amazing just as it is!  I found the mix of romaine and iceberg lettuce (so much better than the "white" lettuce that most fast-food restaurant salads seem to contain!), strawberries, blueberries, roasted almonds, Asiago cheese, and yummy chunks of chicken breast to be a perfect blend for delightful summer enjoyment!

I met up with Tracie from Penny Pinchin' Mom and her family at Wendy's to try out this salad.  We had planned to have a fun adventure at a nearby park, but it was a crazy windy day and we were all afraid our food would blow away - so we adventured at Wendy's instead.
  

L is fascinated by the salad.  Maybe next year, kiddo.  :)

Great job with this salad, Wendy's!  I will definitely be back for more - especially since eating this salad may just make me feel a little bit healthier.  :)
