Day 1 - Carmex Skin Care Prize Package Review + Giveaway {12 Days of Christmas}

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a giveaway...or twelve?!  This week is incredibly busy for me, which is why the deals have been slower.  But I still want to spread some holiday cheer, so today I am launching the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Event!

Day One: Carmex Skin Care Prize Package

Carmex has been a trusted brand for almost 75 years.  If you are like me, you might not realize that Carmex is not just about lip balm!  While they do know how to make great lip products (check my review of the new Vanilla and Lime Click Sticks here), they are also looking to provide solutions for dry skin.  With the winter season approaching, it's important to have some great moisturizers on hand!  Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream have become one of my top choices.  Carmex sent me a sample collection of this new line to try and I love them!

I am picky about my lotion - if it's greasy, it's gone.  Carmex Healing Lotion has a great formula.  I do have to rub it in a little longer than some other lotions, but it does not leave a greasy residue behind. 

The Carmex Healing Cream is lovely as well.  I have used it on my legs (which are sometimes extremely dry from shaving), hands and feet, and every time, after a day or two of use, my skin is soft again. 

I am no longer working full time, but I would have loved to have this set when I worked at the library - the dryness of all the books would regularly make my knuckles crack and bleed.  At least Carmex can keep my hands soft and crack-free this winter, even if I'm not working!

I blame "mommy brain" that I don't seem to remember to apply lotion to my hands daily.  Thankfully Carmex has Healing Lotion for the days I do remember - and Healing Cream to help me out when I've neglected my skin care for a few days!
