Typical American families adorn their Christmas trees with tinsel, lights, strings of popcorn, ornaments and a bright shining star. But how many families do you know who have the Common Cold or the Kissing Disease amidst their family-photo ornaments and hand-made pinecone decorations?
This holiday season, our family has been given the chance to review one of GIANTmicrobes Christmas Ornament sets. There are two types available: a stocking and a Christmas tree. Each package has five different microbes decked out in their holiday gear. Our Christmas Tree set included Common Cold (sporting a Santa hat), Brain Cell (with a candy cane), Kissing Disease (under the mistletoe), E. coli (costumed with reindeer antlers) and a limited edition Red Amoeba (in its winter scarf). Don't let your tree look too "normal," enhance your spirits with these festive germs!
My hubby especially loves all of the GIANTmicrobes. His favorite in this new bunch is the candy cane-cuddling Brain Cell. And L, of course, thinks they are excellent toys! The GIANTmicrobes plush ornaments definintely give our tree some unique character - as long as our house only has the plush Common Cold.
