Imagination Station Book Series Review + Giveaway

I have been a fan of Adventures in Odyssey since I was about 8 years old. I was a kid with a very active imagination, so I ate up every minute of the 30-minute radio program. If I missed an episode, it was just about the end of my world!

You may remember that last month I reviewed the first two books in the new Adventures in Odyssey Imagination Station series by Mariane Hering and Paul McCusker (you can check out that review here).  Now I'm happy to bring you a review and giveaway of the next two titles in the series!

Click here to visit the Imagination Station website!

Book 3, Peril in the Palace, Patrick and Beth continue their fantastic adventures as they head off on an exciting trip to China in the year 1271.  They're on a search to find the golden tablet of Kublai Khan so that they can save Mr. Whittaker's friend Albert.  The cousins quickly find themselves in a lot of trouble as they are kidnapped by Mongol warriors - and they meet up with none other than Marco Polo!  This book covers an interesting time in history that really doesn't get a lot of attention and is certain to encourage readers to learn more about this fascinating time!
Here is more information about Peril in the Palace on Tyndale Publishing's website.

Book 4, Revenge of the Red Knight, our heroes encounter yet more adventure as they journey into medieval England and visit Lord Darkthorn's castle.  The War of the Roses, another historical period that is not given a great amount of attention, is the backdrop of this tale.  The story is filled with intrigue and, of course, lots of imagination.  Patrick and Beth are in trouble when they are thought to be thieves and find themselves assisting Sir Andrew in a jousting tournament!

Here is more information about Revenge of the Red Knight on Tyndale Publishing's website.

The Imagination Station series is written for kids ages 7 and up - though I am well above age 7 and thoroughly enjoyed them.  There are four books in the series so far and more will be released later this year.  These inspirational books are fun and exciting, and a great way to get kids excited about history!

You can purchase books 1-4 right now from Amazon!

  7. Revenge of the Red Knight sounds most interesting to me. I think because I've been to England and I like being able to say so. Lol. I haven't been far or done much so I don't have many stories to tell so I tell the same ones over and over. Haha. That's what parents do though right?
